About This Role

Provide therapeutic services as a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, including assessments, crisis intervention, individual and group therapy, for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapeutic services including assessments, crisis intervention, individual and group therapy to adults with substance use issues
  • Serve individuals with a wide variety of mental health and substance use diagnoses
  • Facilitate relationships and serve as a link between the company, local agencies, and the community
  • Support individuals with connections to services and referral for holistic treatment
  • Work closely with other clinical/professional staff to maintain communication and provide feedback, standardizing procedures and expediting PCP implementation
  • Back-up Program Director and/or other therapists as needed
  • Be an active and positive member of the clinical team
  • Provide quality services with very little supervision and direction

Requirements

  • Valid licensure to provide mental/behavioral healthcare/substance use counseling in North Carolina
  • General knowledge of and interest in substance use treatment
  • Ability to learn Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Ability to use Microsoft 360, Excel, Word
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
  • Ability to lift between 20 and 50 pounds
  • Ability to perform CPR

Nice to Have

  • Dual licensure (LCAS, LCMHC, LCSW)
