Licensed Behavior Specialist

About This Role

Develop and manage formal behavior management plans, conduct functional behavioral assessments, and provide behavioral consultation for IBHS clients under the supervision of a Clinical Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the implementation of formal behavior management plans
• Conduct functional behavioral assessments
• Provide behavioral consultation for IBHS clients
• Implement clinical service delivery goals consistent with agency policies
• Complete 16 hours of Department of Human Services-approved training yearly
• Provide clinical, mobile service delivery in compliance with licensure standards
• Collect outcome data for all clients at times of service re-authorization
• Maintain quality documentation of clinical service delivery
• Conduct assessments of all new IBHS clients on caseload
• Provide crisis assessment and behavioral stabilization services as necessary

Requirements

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling
• 1 year of full-time mental health services experience with children, youth, or young adults
• BSL, MSW, or LPC certification/licensure
• Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
• Criminal History Clearance
• Fingerprint-based federal criminal history clearance
• Verification that employee is not on any Medicaid/Medicare Exclusion list

Qualifications

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling
• One year of full-time experience in providing mental health services to children, youth, or young adults
