Liaison

About This Role

The Liaison will build relationships and connect companies to Food Export programs, guiding them through their export journey. This role focuses on outreach and consultative conversations to help businesses grow.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach to identify and recruit new participants for Food Export programs
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing companies within assigned territories
• Serve as a primary point of contact, providing guidance, support, and program recommendations
• Use a consultative approach to help companies develop annual export marketing plans
• Track outreach, participation, and engagement using CRM tools
• Attend industry events to meet prospects and represent Food Export
• Collaborate with internal teams to align companies with appropriate programs and resources
• Support follow-up and relationship management after program participation
• Assist with identifying success stories and sharing market insights
• Provide clear reporting on outreach activity, prospects, and participation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in sales, recruitment, outreach, or consultative roles
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Comfort with outreach, follow-up, and CRM-based work
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-starter mindset with strong organization and attention to detail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in sales, recruitment, outreach, or consultative roles

• International marketing or trade experience
• Program or service-based sales experience
• Experience in food or agriculture-related industries
