Legal Technology Advisor

About This Role

Serve as a pivotal Legal Technology Advisor, bridging law and technology within a global law firm. Drive the adoption of innovative technology solutions, particularly GenAI tools, to enhance legal service delivery and quality for internal legal professionals and external clients.

Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of internal legal teams and external client needs, translating them into effective technology solutions
• Build strong relationships with clients, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor
• Recommend, configure, and support relevant technologies from the existing Tech stack, including GenAI tools like Copilot and ChatGPT, to drive efficiency and innovation
• Advise on the integration of AI and other advanced technologies in legal workflows like contract analysis and document automation
• Promote and analyze the usage of the Legal Technology Toolkit by delivering tailored presentations, demonstrations, and matter-specific configurations
• Contribute to projects introducing new legal technology tools, ensuring alignment with business needs and strategic priorities
• Collaborate with Product Management teams to provide feedback and guidance on new solutions
• Balance immediate client needs with firm’s strategic objectives, identifying opportunities to leverage existing and emerging solutions
• Support power users of key legal technology tools to expand delivery capabilities
• Gather and share feedback from attorneys and business professionals across the global Legal Technology team throughout the product lifecycle
• Stay current on the latest legal technology trends, especially in GenAI, through continuous learning, networking, and research
• Promote the use of training materials and provide feedback for ongoing improvement

Requirements

• 4+ years’ experience implementing and supporting advanced legal technologies
• Demonstrated proficiency in recommending and supporting GenAI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT) in a legal or professional services environment
• Strong understanding of the legal technology landscape and its application in a global law firm environment
• Ability to challenge the status quo and propose innovative technology solutions
• Sound judgment in evaluating legal technology solutions for their value and alignment with strategic goals
• Ability to work from the office at least three days each calendar week
• Independently and legally authorized to work in the United States

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (minimum of high school diploma or equivalent required)
• Minimum of 4 years’ experience implementing and supporting advanced legal technologies, ideally within Global Financial Markets practice areas at a global law firm

• Experience within Global Financial Markets practice areas at a global law firm
• Prior experience introducing legal technology solutions in professional services firms
