This role is responsible for managing and administering all company leave programs for SHOE SHOW INC nationwide, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. The administrator will serve as the primary point of contact for leave-related questions and coordinate with various HR teams.
Responsibilities
- Administer and track all leaves of absence, including FMLA, ADA, personal, and other applicable programs
- Serve as the primary point of contact across the organization regarding leave questions and status updates
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company leave policies and documentation requirements
- Conduct thorough employee-related investigations, including gathering information and asking difficult questions over the phone professionally and tactfully
- Analyze findings and recommend resolutions based on the information gathered
- Establish company policies and best practices
- Maintain detailed, confidential employee leave records
- Coordinate with payroll, benefits, and HR teams to ensure accurate processing during leave periods
- Provide reports and metrics as needed for HR leadership
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience administering leave programs in a corporate or nationwide environment
- Strong knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and state leave laws
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience administering leave programs in a corporate or nationwide environment
Nice to Have
- Experience with HRIS systems
- Bilingual (Spanish) skills
