About This Role

As a Leasing Consultant Agent, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing excellent service throughout the leasing process for apartment homes. This role involves managing inquiries, conducting property tours, and processing applications for prospective residents.

Responsibilities

  • Answer telephones using the Integral greeting and document calls via guest card in ILM
  • Check and return CallMax messages by 10 am daily, documenting notes in the system
  • Retrieve and act on leads in ILM daily, clearing the Lead board within 48 hours
  • Greet prospective residents and guests with the appropriate Integral greeting
  • Conduct daily checks of model and market-ready apartment homes for show readiness
  • Show model and market-ready apartment homes and offer virtual tours
  • Assist prospective residents with application completion, ensuring completeness and understanding of policies
  • Complete Market Rent applications within 48 hours and Tax Credit/AA applications within 7 days
  • Process Lease Documents, explain leases to applicants, and obtain signatures
  • Make appropriate entries in Yardi and update status reports daily, including Unit Availability Report
  • Prepare move-in packages, verify keys, and conduct apartment move-in inspections with new residents
  • Initiate Yardi information for new leases, including dates, rent, and occupant details
  • Manage lease renewals, notifying residents of options and completing paperwork within specified timelines
  • Handle telephone calls for service requests, entering new requests in Yardi and escalating issues
  • Review and print daily pricing from LRO, updating Market Rents weekly
  • Perform daily cleaning of the Leasing Office and set up marketing collateral
  • Maintain a positive and helpful attitude towards residents, prospective residents, and guests
  • Accept rent, write receipts, and follow up on delinquent accounts as requested
  • Maintain files, adhere to policies and procedures, and check community email frequently

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • High energy with a positive attitude
  • Able to work with and understand persons of all ethnic and educational backgrounds
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively (by telephone and written correspondence)
  • Professional demeanor and image
  • Team player with a pleasant disposition
  • Personal grooming, dress, and appearances in keeping with normal expectations for office professionals
  • Ability to assist Community Manager and/or Assistant Manager in all duties, which may include flexible hours

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prefer one to two years of leasing/sales and/or Customer Service experience. Experience in dealing with customers or the general public.
