This position assigns work based on production schedules, ensuring all necessary materials, tools, and equipment are available. It involves communicating daily assignments to employees and verifying they follow proper fabrication and quality control procedures.
Responsibilities
- Communicate and instruct multiple employees in daily work assignments
- Follow specific direction from Production Supervisor and verify these directions are carried out
- Stage and set up jobs for employees on line ahead of time
- Verify employees are following methods and procedures for fabrication and quality control
- Communicate Non-conforming product issues back to production personnel
- Substitute for Production Supervisor in the event of absence
- Ensure fabrication area is kept organized and 5S polices are followed
Requirements
- High School diploma/GED (minimum)
- Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office)
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
- Vigilant about safety
- Quality-conscious, oriented to excellence
