This role is for a Senior IT Specialist / Lead Software Developer responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise solutions using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and DocBridge technologies. The specialist will lead document processing, format conversion, and quality assurance implementations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance digital experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, coding, testing, and deployment of AEM components, templates, dialogs, and workflows
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop AEM solutions that meet project and business requirements
- Customize and extend AEM functionality using Java, HTL, and JavaScript
- Integrate AEM with third-party systems using APIs and web services
- Configure AEM settings, permissions, and workflows in accordance with industry best practices
- Assist in content migration and authoring while ensuring adherence to established guidelines
- Optimize AEM performance by identifying bottlenecks and improving code efficiency and caching strategies
- Develop and maintain document comparison functionality using DocBridge
- Implement document format conversion processes
- Ensure performance and scalability of document processing applications
- Support bulk printing and document generation common services
- Provide support for tax form data and mapping changes
- Diagnose and resolve document processing workflow issues
- Provide technical support, mentorship, and guidance to team members
- Document technical specifications and overall system architecture
- Conduct code reviews and actively participate in quality assurance activities
Requirements
- 10+ years experience as an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer
- Extensive experience with custom AEM component development and system integration
- Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE, HTL, and JavaScript
- Experience with AEM Core Components and Touch UI development
- Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, Angular, and React
- Knowledge of AEM administration and configuration
- Familiarity with DocBridge or similar document processing and composition tools
- Understanding of software development methodologies, version control systems, and CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Developer
