The Lead Occupational Therapist will assess and treat pediatric patients, create and implement therapy plans, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and mentor junior staff at The KCB Play Institute, a private practice specializing in pediatric speech-language pathology and occupational therapy for neurodiverse children.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients to develop, recover, and maintain their daily living and work skills
- Treat patients to develop, recover, and maintain their daily living and work skills
- Create and implement therapy plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
- Provide direct patient care
- Mentor junior staff
- Support families and caregivers through education and guidance
Requirements
- Experience and proficiency in Occupational Therapy, Rehabilitation, and Medicine
- Strong communication skills
- Specialized experience working with Pediatrics
- Relevant licensure and certification to practice as an Occupational Therapist
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to therapy
