Lead full-cycle ICT design activities for mission critical hyperscale data centers and smart building projects. Oversee project teams, ensure timely delivery, and drive adherence to organizational standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced Information Communication Technology (ICT) design tasks independently
- Perform advanced computation analysis and design tasks for complex projects
- Develop scalable fiber optic and copper plant design
- Determine physical layer route and utilization
- Utilize Revit software to prepare drawings and visual aids
- Review and prepare book or sheet specifications
- Manage project design team including resource forecasting and coordination
- Identify potential project scope changes and minimize impact on costs and deadlines
- Perform QAQC peer reviews for projects
- Survey existing building conditions and prepare technical reports
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of fiber optic component, cabling and interconnect products
- Advanced knowledge in ICT structured cabling design technologies and standards
- Experience in Revit or other Computer Aided Design Tools
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows
- Ability to follow company and site safety requirements
- Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports and correspondence
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
- Ability to communicate effectively directly with clients
- Ability to work successfully in a remote environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or other related field
- Minimum of eight years of engineering or related field experience, with two or more years working on Mission Critical Data Center design projects
