About This Role

Lead full-cycle ICT design activities for mission critical hyperscale data centers and smart building projects. Oversee project teams, ensure timely delivery, and drive adherence to organizational standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced Information Communication Technology (ICT) design tasks independently
  • Perform advanced computation analysis and design tasks for complex projects
  • Develop scalable fiber optic and copper plant design
  • Determine physical layer route and utilization
  • Utilize Revit software to prepare drawings and visual aids
  • Review and prepare book or sheet specifications
  • Manage project design team including resource forecasting and coordination
  • Identify potential project scope changes and minimize impact on costs and deadlines
  • Perform QAQC peer reviews for projects
  • Survey existing building conditions and prepare technical reports

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of fiber optic component, cabling and interconnect products
  • Advanced knowledge in ICT structured cabling design technologies and standards
  • Experience in Revit or other Computer Aided Design Tools
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to leverage AI and emerging technologies to streamline workflows
  • Ability to follow company and site safety requirements
  • Ability to analyze and prepare documents, reports and correspondence
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form
  • Ability to communicate effectively directly with clients
  • Ability to work successfully in a remote environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or other related field
  • Minimum of eight years of engineering or related field experience, with two or more years working on Mission Critical Data Center design projects
