The Lead Consultant, Compensation supports the design, administration, and delivery of compensation programs to attract, retain, and motivate employees. This role involves executing compensation processes, analyzing market data, and ensuring compliance, while partnering with HR and business leaders to provide guidance on pay practices.
Responsibilities
- Help administer base pay, bonus, and incentive programs across regions.
- Prepare compensation worksheets, templates, and tools for annual and cyclical processes.
- Collect and analyze market survey data to support pay decisions.
- Maintain internal compensation data and prepare reports for HR and business leaders.
- Ensure compensation practices follow company policies and local regulations.
- Support audit requests by providing accurate documentation and data validation.
- Respond to inquiries from HR partners and managers regarding pay guidelines.
- Provide clear explanations of compensation policies and processes.
- Coordinate deliverables for compensation-related projects.
- Track progress and escalate issues to senior team members.
- Update HRIS and compensation systems with approved pay changes.
- Test system changes and troubleshoot issues during compensation cycles.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in compensation or HR analytics
- Proficiency in Excel and HRIS systems
- Familiarity with compensation survey tools and market pricing methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in compensation or HR analytics; experience with annual compensation cycles preferred.
