Lead Accountant

About This Role

Lead the financial reporting for a newly spun-off FinTech business unit in the broker dealer space, reporting directly to the VP of Finance. This role involves managing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial packages, regulatory filings, budgeting, and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting packages, including regulatory filings
• Develop and manage operating budgets and annual company budgets
• Oversee Accounts Payable/Receivable and cash management
• Lead investor equity reporting
• Provide internal and external audit support

Requirements

• Master's/Bachelor's in Accounting
• 6+ years of public accounting AND broker dealer financial reporting experience
• Strong GAAP accounting experience
• FINRA/SEC experience
• Technical accounting research experience
