Provide high-quality mental health counseling, support, and behavioral therapy to individuals, particularly those with disabilities, as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). This role involves conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Provide behavioral therapy and psychotherapy to clients, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patients with disabilities and their families, including crisis intervention and community care
- Engage in clinical research to enhance therapeutic practices and improve patient outcomes
Requirements
- State of Florida LCSW/LMHC
- Master’s degree in social work from an accredited college
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
