About This Role

Provide high-quality mental health counseling, support, and behavioral therapy to individuals, particularly those with disabilities, as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). This role involves conducting patient assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine individual needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Provide behavioral therapy and psychotherapy to clients, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patients with disabilities and their families, including crisis intervention and community care
  • Engage in clinical research to enhance therapeutic practices and improve patient outcomes

Requirements

  • State of Florida LCSW/LMHC
  • Master’s degree in social work from an accredited college
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
