LCL Export Operations Coordinator

About This Role

Coordinate and oversee LCL export operations, including load planning, warehouse management, and documentation, ensuring timely and accurate processing of shipments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the load planning and warehouse operations for Shipco controlled consol containers and customer own containers
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments, tracking, and documentation
• Act as a central point of contact for internal departments, external partners, key global accounts and vendors
• Assist the operations department with managing emails pertaining to O,S&D holds, transit/schedule inquires, warehousing services and any distributing any other inquiries to the appropriate parties
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between different teams to ensure seamless operations
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement efficient workflows
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, transactions, and other relevant documentation
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
• Address and resolve operational issues in a timely manner
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and find solutions to challenges that may arise

Requirements

• Proven experience in operations coordination or a similar role
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in using relevant software and tools
