As a Lawn Technician, you will be crucial in creating sustainable landscapes for customers by applying treatments, diagnosing issues, and educating on proper lawn care. This role involves independently managing daily tasks and representing Yard Guard's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Apply lawn treatments, including fertilization and weed control to create healthy and vibrant landscapes
• Evaluate lawns and diagnose issues such as pest infestations, disease, and nutrient deficiencies, offering the best solutions
• Educate customers on proper lawn care practices and provide recommendations for service upgrades to meet their goals
• Communicate daily with dispatch to manage schedules, relay updates, and resolve service-related challenges
• Maintain accurate service records, including detailed notes
• Operate and maintain lawn care equipment safely and efficiently
• Stay informed about Yard Guard's services and share their benefits with customers
• Uphold Yard Guard's commitment to safety, professionalism, and top-tier customer service
• Represent the company's core values through work ethic, communication, and dedication to quality

Requirements

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check
• Minimum of 18 years of age
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk 10+ miles per day
• Self-motivated and dependable
• Competent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to confidently drive a large, green pickup truck
• Passion for customer satisfaction
