About This Role

The Laundry Assistant is responsible for the daily laundering operations, including loading and operating washing machines and dryers, and ensuring the cleanliness of the laundry area. This role contributes to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for patients in a senior care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Load washers with dirty linens and prepare linen for morning change
  • Keep floors, walls and equipment clean
  • Operate washing machines and dryers
  • Follow established cleaning schedules

Qualifications

  • Laundry experience preferred, but not required
