About This Role

KFAM is seeking a highly motivated, Korean bilingual mental health therapist to provide psychotherapy, advocacy, and outreach services to the Korean and API immigrant families, focusing on children and youth with bullying and school violence issues.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mental health therapy services to individuals, couples, and families
  • Provide outreach, advocacy, and community education on bullying and school violence
  • Provide case navigation as needed
  • Complete and submit intake assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other client related documents in a timely manner as required
  • Provide crisis intervention to clients as needed

Requirements

  • Bilingual in Korean language
  • CA BBS registration as an Associate
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Professional Clinical Counseling
  • Valid driver’s license and insurance
  • Willingness to drive as needed

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Professional Clinical Counseling

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with children and youth
