Kitchen Worker

About This Role

This is an entry-level Kitchen Worker role responsible for culinary operations, including food preparation, buffet presentation, stocking supplies, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness at The Conference Center at Waltham Woods. The position contributes to ensuring high-quality food and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for inclusion in daily menu offerings
• Perform tasks outside of food preparation to support culinary operations
• Comply with all established health, sanitation and safety procedures
• Contribute to 100% customer satisfaction through personal commitment to customer service
• Prepare hot and cold food items
• Prepare and replenish dishes for buffet presentation
• Stock kitchen supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 months experience in food preparation in a fast paced environment
• Ability to interact verbally and listen attentively to co-workers and supervisors
• Ability to follow written and oral direction
• Ability to work under pressure and independently
• Ability to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in weight
• Ability to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in food preparation in a fast paced environment.
