This role is for a qualified kitchen and closet designer who will also manage the showroom, focusing on growing the business and providing excellent customer service. This position includes client consultations for commercial and residential projects, working with builders, and managing design projects from concept to installation.
Responsibilities
- Meet with clients to understand their needs, project scope, and timeline for commercial and residential cabinet and closet projects
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality, ensuring designs meet production and installation standards
- Develop detailed, functional layouts using 20/20 software
- Guide clients in choosing appropriate finishes, colors, hardware, and materials
- Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and installation teams for seamless project completion
- Maintain excellent client communication and provide post-installation support
Requirements
- Proficiency in 20/20 software
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
- Knowledge of cabinetry and closet construction, materials, and installation best practices
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office 365
