This role is responsible for maintaining kitchen cleanliness, sanitizing equipment, and ensuring proper storage of food and non-food supplies within a senior living community. The Kitchen Attendant contributes to creating a positive and personalized experience for residents.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize pots, dishes, utensils, and carts using mechanical or handwashing methods
- Stock and rotate food and non-food supplies using appropriate storing techniques
- Maintain proper chemical amounts and temperatures for the dish machine and sinks
- Conduct closedown procedures including sweeping and mopping floors, trash removal, and ensuring all kitchen equipment is off and storage areas locked
