Support daily meal preparation and food service for campers and staff at a summer camp. This role involves assisting with food prep, meal service, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness and food safety.
Responsibilities
- Assist with food prep and meal service
- Clean and sanitize kitchen and dining areas
- Wash dishes and maintain equipment
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Support special events and camp programming
Requirements
- At least 18 years old by July 27, 2026
- Experience in institutional or large food service settings
- Knowledge of and experience in food service
- Knowledge of standards of food preparation, serving, and storage, and kitchen procedures
- Knowledge of and experience in preparation of special dietary foods
- Ability to interact positively with youth ages 7 to 17
Qualifications
- Experience in institutional or large food service settings
Nice to Have
- Prior youth-focused work or volunteer experience
