Provide essential in-person interpretation services for local Nebraska clients by leveraging full bilingual fluency in Karen and English. This role offers flexible hours and the opportunity to make a difference in the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-person interpretation services to local Nebraska clients
- Maintain strict confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
- Utilize technical skills for learning and using an online portal (printing and uploading vouchers)
- Be available to provide services within typical hours of M-F 7AM-5PM
Requirements
- Fully bilingual in Karen and English
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/HIPAA compliance
- Reliable transportation for in-person appointments locally
- Technical skills for learning/using online portal
- Access to a printer
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screens
- Proof of vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption
Nice to Have
