Ensure the Information Security Team's tasks meet quality standards, bridging the gap between development and security. Focus on learning security methodologies while supporting the engineering team in releasing secure products.
Responsibilities
- Review closed tickets by the Information Security Team for compliance with defined quality criteria
- Review new and updated documentation from the Information Security Team for compliance with defined quality criteria
- Review Information Security Team KPIs and implement corrective actions for those out of threshold
- Provide constructive feedback, identify root causes, improve processes, and support team members in fixing mistakes
- Design, implement, and maintain an Artificial Intelligence (AI) knowledge system for consistent, on-demand guidance
- Propose improvements to achieve better quality and reduce overhead
- Document new procedures or update existing ones
- Create reports, some based on tickets
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and stay current with emerging threats and technologies
- Share knowledge and expertise with the team to foster security awareness and continuous improvement
- Adhere to the organization's different policies
Requirements
- On-going Bachelor's degree in computer science, telecommunications, or other related academic fields
- Hands-on experience reviewing operational tickets and process documentation for quality, completeness, and adherence to established policies
- Understanding of ticket lifecycle management and quality standards in IT teams
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered knowledge assistants based on structured and unstructured process documentation
- At least 1 year of work experience in similar roles
- Excellent writing skills in both English and Spanish
- Good networking and cybersecurity foundations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, telecommunications, or other related academic fields (on-going)
- At least 1 year of work experience in similar roles, with hands-on experience reviewing operational tickets and process documentation for quality, completeness, and adherence to established policies.
Nice to Have
- Any Cybersecurity certification
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and process-driven environments
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity governance, controls, and risk-based processes
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or similar
- Knowledge of common cybersecurity tools (Tenable, Qualys, Acunetix, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, CrowdStrike, Cloudflare, Imperva, Splunk, Snort, New Relic, FortiGate, Cisco Firepower, ManageEngine suite of tools, Nmap, Wireshark, Sonarqube)
