This role will collaborate with various stakeholders on high-end residential and hospitality projects, handling technical drawings, project documentation, material sourcing, and adhering to budgets and timelines. The position is full-time and in-person in Columbus, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate seamlessly with colleagues, clients, architects, contractors, fabricators, and artisans on multiple projects in varying design phases
- Responsible for technical drawings, project file organization, client follow-ups, and meeting preparation
- Source and specify materials and furniture, custom furniture design, and visual research
- Be mindful of budgets and project timelines
- Maintain the Studio library organization
- Create project documentation including drawing sets, schedules, and construction administration duties in tandem with the Associate Interior Designer and Creative Director
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience and interest in hospitality and/or residential interiors
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited design school
- Passion for design and a keen eye for detail
- High proficiency in CAD (ArchiCAD), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and SketchUp
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with clarity, organization and follow-through
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a willingness to adapt to the daily needs of the design team
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited design school
- 1-3 years of experience and interest in hospitality and/or residential interiors
