Job Site Superintendent

About This Role

Oversee all aspects of custom home renovations, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to schedules and safety standards. This role involves managing subcontractors, collaborating with design teams, and communicating proactively with clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the construction phase of custom home renovations
• Perform effective design interpretation and layout
• Develop and maintain project schedules and timelines to ensure successful project outcomes
• Manage subcontractors and other project personnel, ensuring quality work and adherence to project schedules
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Collaborate with architects, designers and engineers to identify and address design and construction issues
• Manage all aspects of the site, including material deliveries, site cleanliness, and site safety
• Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates and ensure satisfaction
• Ensure that project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project plans, are complete and accurate

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a Superintendent in high-end custom residential construction in the San Francisco Bay Area
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and techniques
• Strong project management skills, including ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
• Familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software such as Procore
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required, with additional trade school or apprenticeship training preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent in high-end custom residential construction in the San Francisco Bay Area
