IT Salesforce Administrator

About This Role

This role is the technical owner of internal and external applications at Alerus, focusing on Salesforce. You will collaborate with business units, design and configure Salesforce solutions, and automate business processes to enhance efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business processes into scalable Salesforce solutions
• Design, build, and maintain Salesforce Flows (Screen, Record-Triggered, Scheduled) to automate complex business processes
• Analyze existing processes and recommend technical improvements to increase efficiency and data accuracy
• Create functional and technical documentation for new and enhanced Salesforce solutions
• Configure Salesforce features including objects, fields, validation rules, page layouts, and automation tools
• Lead solution design discussions, ensuring proposed solutions align with business goals and Salesforce best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Flows, automation, and system behavior
• Perform impact analysis and testing to ensure changes do not negatively affect existing functionality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Service, Operations, IT) to drive successful implementations
• Provide user support, training, and guidance to encourage adoption of new processes and tools

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and/or related experience
• 3-5 years SFDC experience
• Salesforce Admin Certification (up to date)
• 3+ years SFDC Administration experience
