IT Business Analyst

About This Role

Partner with business stakeholders as an IT Business Analyst to support new technical solutions and efficiencies across the enterprise, translating business needs into functional and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business partners and stakeholders to support new technical solutions and efficiencies throughout the enterprise
• Own gathering, documenting, and communicating business and system requirements that define the proposed solution for a defined business strategy
• Translate user's needs into functional and technical requirements using business process maps, user stories, use cases, and diagrams

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Ability to understand the business and technical requirements of a system and its impact on other systems
• Ability to communicate ideas and concepts in both a technical and user-friendly manner
• Able to understand functional and technical characteristics of hardware/software platforms of each product/project assigned
• Understanding of enterprise-wide analysis tools (such as MS Office Suite, including Outlook, Visio and MS Project Pro) and techniques
• Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and sound judgment
• Knowledge and understanding of configuration, change and release processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, information systems or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst
