Investor Relations Summer Intern

About This Role

This role supports the Investor Relations and Operations team, focusing on investor communications, reporting, and onboarding processes within a quant-driven asset management firm in NYC.

Responsibilities

• Assist with capital formation and investor relations efforts across all stages of the fundraising lifecycle
• Support the subscription process, including AML documentation, Blue Sky and Form D filings, and completion of subscription materials
• Assist with meeting coordination and scheduling, attend meetings, take notes, and track follow-ups
• Support the preparation, tracking, and distribution of investor reports, updating marketing materials and due diligence questionnaires, and coordinating distribution
• Maintain and enhance the CRM database, ensuring investor and prospect records are accurate and up to date
• Respond to and help prepare ad-hoc investor requests
• Support internal projects and key team initiatives as needed
• Assist with day to day operational activities, including counterparty onboarding and relationship management

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (junior or senior preferred) in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field
• Strong interest in capital markets, hedge funds, and investor relations
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Professional and client facing mindset
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (junior or senior preferred) in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related field
