The Investment Analyst is responsible for reviewing assigned accounts and conducting research to provide recommendations to the Investment Policy Committee (IPC). This role involves analyzing financial trends, interpreting investment data, and participating in client meetings.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze company financial statements, industry, regulatory and economic information, and financial periodicals and newspapers
- Interpret data concerning price, yield, stability, and future trends of investments
- Communicate with brokers and purchase investments for company, according to company policy
- Complete trading on assigned accounts
- Conduct portfolio activities with client needs in mind
- Track and analyze financial trends to inform decisions
- Validate the integrity of data
- Prepare weekly market summaries
- Lead multidisciplinary due diligence teams to assess, negotiate and recommend investment decisions to the IPC
- Manage Model Maintenance and Security Set Maintenance on custom accounts assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration
- 2-4 years of experience in finance or wealth management
