This role will join a high-performing investment team focusing on project M&A, capital recycling, and greenfield development in renewable energy across North America. The position involves transaction underwriting, corporate modeling, and strategic initiatives, offering strong exposure to senior leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead corporate financial modeling for strategic initiatives and senior leadership deliverables
- Participate in business forecasting and strategic decision-making
- Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors to develop and validate model assumptions
- Support development investment decisions, M&A, and capital recycling transactions
- Conduct due diligence, assess investment merits and risks, and analyze scenario outcomes
- Build detailed transaction, valuation, and financing models (DCF, precedent analysis)
- Prepare and present investment materials to senior management and investment committees
- Review portfolio assets and support value-enhancement initiatives
- Assist with deal structuring, industry research, and evaluation of new market opportunities
- Support corporate-level strategic initiatives and special projects as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting, or a related quantitative field
- 2+ years of relevant experience (renewable energy, infrastructure, private equity, investment banking, project finance, transaction services, or valuations)
- Strong financial modeling expertise in Excel, including valuation and financing structures
- Experience conducting due diligence and preparing investment materials for senior stakeholders
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, accounting, or a related quantitative field
- 2+ years of relevant experience, ideally in renewable energy, infrastructure, private equity, investment banking, project finance, transaction services, or valuations
