Inventory Specialist Stores Part-Time

About This Role

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the store by managing inventory, processing shipments, and maintaining organizational standards. This role supports the styling floor by preparing products and fulfilling customer orders efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Act and lead through our core values of humility, empathy, authenticity, relationships, and tenacity (HEART)
• Work a minimum of 8 hours per week executing inventory management tasks
• Process new shipment deliveries and maintain quality assurance by reviewing for defects
• Maintain purchase order records, manage invoices, and price ticketing of new goods
• Partner with store leaders and merchandisers on product placement on the styling floor
• Manage daily replenishment of items sold and pulls for the styling floor
• Manage fulfillment queue for web orders and orders from other stores, processing and shipping them timely
• Conduct weekly checks for items returned to vendors and execute transfers out of the store
• Conduct transfers of product to other stores or to the company warehouse as directed
• Execute markdowns weekly and help maintain a well-stocked and organized sale section
• Maintain general organization and cleanliness of the backroom following company directives
• Order store supplies weekly to ensure all necessary items and packaging are available

Requirements

• Collaborative and able to use creative problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented while still maintaining excellent time management and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently
• Strong organization and computer skills
• Ability to climb a ladder as needed
• Ability to lift 20-30 pounds independently
• Ability to move items weighing up to 50 pounds using an assisted dolly
