This Inventory Analyst II position is responsible for evaluating and implementing inventory management programs, tools, and policies to meet project and production requirements. The role involves reviewing and approving purchase requisitions, resolving inventory discrepancies, and interacting with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-compliant operations. The analyst will also utilize Power BI, SAP, and Excel for data analysis and reporting, with a focus on perishable and time-sensitive products.
Responsibilities
- Review, evaluate, and approve MRP requirements, purchase requisitions, and inventory transfers to meet project and production needs
- Review cycle count results and resolve inventory discrepancies
- Analyze and resolve routine and non-routine obsolete and excess inventory issues
- Review and analyze ABC codes and order policies of parts
- Analyze and resolve conflicts in supply and demand, investigating and presenting findings and solutions to management
- Develop reports and procedures for inventory monitoring and control, coordinating with IT for data collection reports
- Maintain, implement, and assist in developing inventory control programs to meet project and production requirements on time and within budget
- Review and evaluate inventory control policies and procedures, making recommendations for changes
- Analyze and maintain sufficient inventory levels to meet production, Hi-time, and repair requirements while adhering to management guidelines
- Analyze and process inventory write-off of obsolescence
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key performance metrics and operational trends
- Extract and manipulate data from SAP modules (MM, PP, SD) for reporting, inventory tracking, and order management
- Utilize advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, pivot tables, Power Query) for ad hoc analysis and reporting
- Monitor inventory levels and product flow to ensure timely processing and minimize spoilage or expiration for perishable goods
Requirements
- General understanding of inventory planning and control standards, practices, concepts, and principles
- General knowledge of computer-based manufacturing systems and MRP

- Ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data, and develop solutions

- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in business administration or related field
- three or more years of related experience in inventory planning and control
