Support UCF's commitment to the health, safety, and security of students, faculty, and staff engaged in university-sponsored international travel. Manage the international travel approval and registration process, provide emergency contact support, and ensure compliance with risk management best practices.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and maintain the international travel approval process, including data and reporting requirements
- Assist with 24/7 response to international incidents affecting UCF travelers
- Coordinate with various offices on and off campus to assist with communications, support, travel insurance, and potential evacuations for international travelers
- Assist with risk assessments of specific international travel locations/destinations for university-related activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent customer service and people skills
- Knowledge of office practices and common technology, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated clear and effective oral and written communication skills
- Authorized to work for any U.S. employer
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree
- 2+ years of relevant experience or 2+ years of experience in higher education, international education, or emergency management
