Supervise accounting and tax functions, focusing on international and cross-border matters, and prepare financial reports and tax returns for a diverse client base.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly accounting reports including Balance Sheets and Income Statements for clients
- Perform account reconciliations, analysis, and proper recording of business transactions
- Analyze and prepare income tax returns for corporations, partnerships, LLCs, and individuals
- Review financial records to determine forms needed for tax returns and ensure compliance with tax laws
- Consult tax law handbooks or bulletins for atypical returns
- Supervise staff in day-to-day accounting functions for client firms
