Intern - State Farm Agent Team Member

About This Role

This Intern role supports State Farm agents by fulfilling administrative duties, assisting in customer acquisition and retention, and providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced insurance and financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the business goals of the insurance agency with mutually agreed upon expectations
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions and billing clarification
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to educate customers about insurance options
• Use exemplary communication to efficiently meet the needs of customers while promoting the development of the business

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a full-time student in an undergraduate or post-graduate program
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as operate independently
• Effective customer service and interpersonal skills
• Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail

Qualifications

• Full-time student currently enrolled in an undergraduate or post-graduate program
