The Instructional Coach will strengthen teaching practices through collaborative, student-centered coaching for educators serving students with autism and emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. This role builds educator capacity, promotes high-quality instruction, and supports positive learning outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Coach teachers using observation, modeling, dialogue, and co-teaching practices
- Support alignment of instruction with standards, curriculum, and assessments
- Promote inclusive, engaging, student-centered learning environments
- Provide professional development to increase educator effectiveness
- Collaborate with school leaders to analyze data and support improvement planning
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in special education or a related field
- Valid Pennsylvania Instructional II Special Education certification
- Experience supporting instructional practice through coaching or mentoring
- Strong knowledge of standards-based instruction and curriculum alignment
