Join a family-owned security company as an Inspection Technician to ensure security systems comply with regulations, performing inspections, basic maintenance, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and test customer alarm systems, including sensors, motion detectors, and smoke detectors
- Change system batteries as needed
- Learn and utilize software systems such as Sedona and Building Reports
- Accurately document inspections, maintenance, and repairs
- Troubleshoot basic system issues, as trained
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass background and driving record checks
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
- NICET or IPSI certification or willingness to obtain
