Inside Sales Support – Trench Drain

About This Role

This role will support complex commercial projects from concept to completion by providing sales and technical assistance to various stakeholders for trench drain products. It involves working with technical details, problem-solving, and building strong relationships across sales, engineering, and construction partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide sales and technical support to wholesalers, engineers, contractors, regional sales managers, customer service, and independent reps
• Review specifications, drawings, and fixture schedules to create accurate project take-offs and quotes
• Build and manage project submittals, track opportunities, and follow up on leads
• Support Lunch-and-Learn presentations and customer education efforts
• Qualify and quantify leads from subscribed lead services
• Develop deep product knowledge of Sioux Chief trench drain systems and competitor offerings
• Collaborate closely with the Trench Drain team to increase brand awareness and secure orders
• Communicate regularly with civil and plumbing engineers, wholesalers, contractors, general contractors, and rep agency network

• Strong attention to detail
• Comfort working with drawings, plans, and specifications
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a broader sales team
• Confidence in communicating with technical and non-technical audiences
• Curiosity and willingness to build deep product knowledge

Qualifications

• Experience in sales support, construction products, plumbing, drainage, or a related field is a plus but not strictly required for this entry-level position.
