About This Role

The Inside Sales Account Manager supports and drives sales of parts and services within the municipal water and wastewater market, primarily for Trojan UV systems. This role manages customer relationships throughout the product lifecycle, including onboarding, ongoing support, and identifying opportunities for services, upgrades, and system expansions.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries via the shared territory mailbox, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
  • Prepare accurate and timely quotes and process purchase orders in line with established procedures.
  • Conduct proactive outbound sales calls to maintain customer relationships and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Track customer activities, opportunities, and interactions in Salesforce with a high level of accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Account Manager (RAM) to support territory strategy and customer needs.
  • Identify and resolve routine customer issues, applying judgment to escalate more complex situations when needed.
  • Manage workload independently to ensure timely, accurate completion of tasks with minimal rework.
  • Support service delivery by consistently following standardized sales and customer support processes.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education with a minimum of 3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or sales negotiation.
  • Proven track record of selling products and services through inbound and outbound customer calls, consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using CRM and ERP systems (Salesforce preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively in a fast-paced environment, applying sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
