The Inside Sales Account Manager drives customer engagement and revenue growth for a nonprofit biological resources organization through virtual channels, managing client relationships and supporting scientific community needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage inbound and outbound sales activities via phone, email, and online platforms
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, ensuring satisfaction and retention
- Develop new accounts and business opportunities
- Generate referrals and expand relationships with existing clients to achieve sales targets
- Coordinate with internal teams to deliver products and services
- Provide recommendations based on customer needs and manage custom solution proposals
- Support post-sales engagement
- Execute sales strategies, qualify leads, and maintain accurate CRM records
- Generate sales reports and identify opportunities to increase sales volume
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ATCC's products and services
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years' experience or equivalent experience
- Proven success in virtual sales, account management, or customer service
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency with CRM systems and virtual communication tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 2 years' experience in sales, account management, or customer service.
Nice to Have
- Prior life science experience or degree in biology or related field
- Prior experience qualifying leads, managing CRM data and developing customer relationships in a life science environment
