This role involves marketing customer business, identifying client exposures to recommend and design risk transfer products, and generating revenue by negotiating favorable quotes with carriers. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships within an agency and/or broker network.
Responsibilities
- Market customer business, typically of moderate complexity
- Receive requests for quotes and develop/maintain a network of agency and/or broker relationships
- Identify and analyze client exposures to recommend and/or design risk transfer/financing products
- Identify appropriate carriers, send requests, negotiate favorable quotes and prepare recommendations
- Generate revenue
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 3 years related experience or High School Diploma/GED and 8 years related experience
- License required
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED
- 3 years related experience with Bachelor's degree or 8 years related experience with High School Diploma/GED
Nice to Have
- Professional designation such as CPCU, CIC, or ARM
- Excellent sales capabilities
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
