The Industrial Maintenance Inventory Coordinator maintains a stock of spare parts, manages backorders, and ensures invoices and billing issues are handled promptly. This role is crucial for ensuring high levels of equipment availability.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a stock of spare parts
- Quote prices on required maintenance parts
- Manage backorders
- Maintain critical spare parts inventories
- Maintain vendor relations, including ensuring invoices, shipment slips, and other billing issues are taken care of promptly
- Order, track, receive, and inventory all maintenance parts
- Perform weekly cycle counts and conduct physical inventory audits
- Ensure accuracy of parts issued
- Provide emergency support for locating and ordering out of stock and/or obsolete critical parts
- Assist with the kitting and parts coordination of major factory and utility outages
Requirements
- Ability to work in a flexible work schedule including overtime, shift changes, and emergency call-in
- Proficiency in computer software such as eMaint, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
- Familiarity with CMMS software
