About This Role

The Industrial Maintenance Inventory Coordinator maintains a stock of spare parts, manages backorders, and ensures invoices and billing issues are handled promptly. This role is crucial for ensuring high levels of equipment availability.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a stock of spare parts
  • Quote prices on required maintenance parts
  • Manage backorders
  • Maintain critical spare parts inventories
  • Maintain vendor relations, including ensuring invoices, shipment slips, and other billing issues are taken care of promptly
  • Order, track, receive, and inventory all maintenance parts
  • Perform weekly cycle counts and conduct physical inventory audits
  • Ensure accuracy of parts issued
  • Provide emergency support for locating and ordering out of stock and/or obsolete critical parts
  • Assist with the kitting and parts coordination of major factory and utility outages

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a flexible work schedule including overtime, shift changes, and emergency call-in
  • Proficiency in computer software such as eMaint, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel
  • Familiarity with CMMS software
