Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment and belt lines to ensure the facility operates efficiently. This role involves working with power distribution, PLC controls, and various industrial electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment and belt lines
- Perform electrical maintenance, preventative maintenance, diagnostic troubleshooting, repair, adjustment, and installation activities
- Maintain AC/DC motors and drives, controls, PLC controls, and all types of sensors
- Install and repair electrical systems and components according to electrical code, manuals, schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
- Perform safety inspections and prevent/minimize equipment downtime
- Cross-train on operational equipment such as loaders, dozers, locomotives and cranes

Requirements
- Minimum three years of experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
- Solid knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety protocols relevant to industrial environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- Effective communication skills
- Experience and demonstrated familiarity with PLCs
- Comfortable working at heights, in the elements, and in confined spaces
- Ability to obtain and hold a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
- Ability to work overtime and rotating shifts, including nights, holidays, and weekends
- Proficient in building/repairing panels and controls
- Proficient in power distribution
- Proficient in preventative maintenance programs
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics
- Proficient in bending conduit
- Proficient in 220/480 volts
- Proficient in industrial wiring
Qualifications
- Minimum three years of experience as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing environment
