Industrial Hygienist

About This Role

This Industrial Hygienist role involves performing critical industrial hygiene assessments, primarily within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The position requires collaborating with a team of experts to protect worker health through quantitative and qualitative risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate quantitative IH sampling plans
• Perform quantitative IH assessments at client sites focused on airborne pharmaceutical, chemical, and noise monitoring
• Compile and analyze IH results using statistical methods
• Prepare and communicate technical reports
• Advise clients on IH program development and control solutions
• Assist and conduct qualitative exposure risk assessments
• Advise clients on facility and equipment design for employee protection
• Develop and deliver technical health and safety training
• Assist with proposals and business development
• Develop and maintain positive client relationships

Requirements

• US Citizen or authorized to work in the USA
• BS/BA in Science, Engineering or related field
• 1-3 years of professional experience providing IH services in an industrial or academic environment
• Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office/365 Suite
• Superior written and oral communication skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with time management and organizational skills
• Good judgment and discretion when working with confidential information

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Science, Engineering or related field
• 1-3 years of professional experience providing IH services in an industrial or academic environment.

Nice to Have

• MS/MA preferred
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, chemical, or biotechnology industries
• Candidates working toward Professional Board Certification in Industrial Hygiene (CIH) and/or Certification in Safety (CSP) preferred
