This role is at the forefront of the company's revenue generation, focusing on qualifying and converting high-intent inbound sales leads for a leading equity management and business valuation firm. The position also supports the sales team throughout the deal cycle ensuring a positive buying experience for prospects.
Responsibilities
- Communicate clearly, confidently, and professionally with founders, CFOs, and executives.
- Speak knowledgeably and convey the broad, deep experience of a tenured fintech firm.
- Represent the firm’s credibility, expertise, and urgency in every interaction.
- Solve the prospect’s problem.
- Respond rapidly to inbound valuation inquiries, and website leads.
- Assess the client’s needs and the problem that they are calling for us to solve.
- Negotiate and close deals on the spot, then follow through to close.
- Book high-quality meetings for senior sales leadership.
- Prepare proper background research prior to sales calls.
- Assist with proposals, follow-ups, and deal coordination.
- Maintain clean, accurate CRM records in HubSpot.
- Identify patterns in inbound demand and share insights with sales and marketing.
- Help refine messaging, qualification criteria, and internal processes as we grow.
Requirements
- 1–3+ years in SDR, sales support, customer success, or inside sales.
- Experience qualifying inbound leads in B2B, SaaS, fintech, or professional services.
- Willingness to work in-office, five days per week, in Monterey, CA.
- Strong sense of responsibility and follow-through.
- Professionalism rooted in integrity and quality client service.
Qualifications
- 1-3+ years in SDR, sales support, customer success, or inside sales.
Nice to Have
- Finance education and/or finance environment experience.
- Familiarity with the public stock market and the mechanics of equity.
- Familiarity with sales tools (Apollo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM workflows).
- Finance, accounting, business, or economics background.
