In-Home Caregiver/Driver

About This Role

Provide essential in-home care and support to seniors, including companionship, personal care, and transportation, to help them maintain independence and thrive.

Responsibilities

• Develop professional, warm, and caring relationships with clients
• Provide companionship services such as outings, walks, and stimulating activities
• Assist with personal care including toileting, bathing, and dressing
• Transport clients to varied settings and appointments
• Perform household chores like laundry, meal preparation, and housekeeping
• Monitor and assist with transfers and physical exercise regimes
• Communicate with family members and office staff
• Observe, document, and report changes in client's medical or physical condition
• Submit required paperwork and documentation on time
• Attend mandatory orientation and in-service training

Requirements

• Ability to obtain HCA/CNA certification within 200 days of hire if not already certified
• Verified professional Caregiving experience and references if not certified
• Ability to provide 2-3 professional references
• A smartphone for in-home care application use
• Ability to drive clients in personal vehicle
• Driver's License
• Clear driving record
• Proof of vehicle insurance
• Ability to work 1 to 7 hour-long shifts
• Minimum 3 out of 7 day-time availability per week
• Proof of eligibility to work in the USA

Qualifications

• New Caregivers encouraged to apply, professional Caregiving experience highly preferred

Nice to Have

• 3+ years of professional Caregiving experience
• Actively Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Actively Certified Home Care Aide (HCA)
• Flexibility to see clients outside of Seattle city limits
• Experience communicating with clients who have Dementia & Mental Health Challenges
• Personable Companionship skills
• Experience with End of Life Care - Hospice & Palliative Care
• Nurse Delegated: Core & Diabetes
