Provide attentive, in-home support to elderly clients, assisting with daily activities and personal care to enhance their quality of life and independence. Monitor and report changes in client condition to ensure optimal care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care, hygiene, and companionship
- Support daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Perform light housekeeping, run errands, and provide transportation as needed
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition to the healthcare team
- Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive home environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable
- Compassionate
- Dedicated to client well-being
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of caregiving experience, especially with elderly clients
Nice to Have
- CNA certification
- Experience in caregiving, especially with elderly clients
