The Implementation Lead will partner with retail clients to design, configure, test, and implement value-added business solutions using the TradeBeyond/CBX platform. This role involves understanding client digital goals, translating them into requirements, and delivering strategic consultancy to optimize customer investment.
Responsibilities
- Drive key assigned initiatives for complex or multiple smaller customers
- Create project timelines, manage implementation milestones, and ensure quality deliverables
- Manage the Project P&L and liaise with the Customer Success Team on escalation, upsell, and cross-sell opportunities
- Maintain value-oriented, business, and technical goals set forth by the customer
- Proactively manage expectations with customer, colleagues, and partners
- Manage overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverable expectations are clearly communicated
- Translate customer business requirements into functional specifications for Product and Development teams
- Configure the CBX application to support the jointly defined future state client business process
- Effectively balance the needs of the customer, as well as the needs of the company to ensure financial viability of the project
- Handle customer escalations as first point of contact and raise to appropriate executive team members when required
- Interface with users at all levels, including Senior Management (C-Level), to make recommendations for on-time and on-budget project delivery
- Provide Customer and TradeBeyond Executive Stakeholders project feedback regularly
- Estimate cost and timeline for new and existing customer opportunities in the form of resource plan and project timeline
- Support sales and pre-sales by lending expertise from the TradeBeyond customer base
- Act as a coach and mentor for project team members and direct reports
- Ensure accurate and timely administrative reporting (Forecasting, Time Submission)
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years’ project management experience working with a software solution
- Expertise with multiple delivery methodologies including Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid
- Excellent analytical skill and customer/user management skill
- Ability to analyze business workflow and process
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skill
- Demonstrate skilled problem-solving capabilities
- Self-motivated character with “can-do” attitude and proven multi-tasking ability
- Proven history of ability to work cross functionality and collaborate with other departments and teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Information System, Information Technology or other related discipline
- Minimum 4 years’ project management experience working with a software solution
Nice to Have
- Certification such as PRINCE2 or PMP
- Proven experience of project management tools (e.g. Confluence / JIRA)
- Familiarity with SQL, JSON
- Familiarity in Agile Development, particularly Scrum or Kanban
- Enterprise Retail / Consumer products experience (business or information technology)
