As an Outside Sales Representative, you will cultivate relationships with HVAC and Propane industry customers, drive sales objectives, and provide professional representation for the R.E. Michel Company.
Responsibilities
- Achieve sales, gross profit dollars, and gross profit percentage in accordance with established sales goals
- Develop customer relationships by providing professional representation and assistance to improve customer profits
- Prepare objectives for each sales call in advance
- Respond to customer requests for assistance promptly and thoroughly
- Timely and professionally prepare customer quotes and follow up until resolution
- Attend and become active in local HVACR and LP Gas associations, committees, and/or Boards
- Establish and maintain customer pricing based on market conditions
- Communicate timely with branch manager and inside sales team regarding customer developments
- Attend and participate in Company events such as sales meetings and training classes
- Represent the R.E. Michel Company in a professional manner at all times
Requirements
- Satisfactory driving record
- Proof of automotive insurance
- Ability to meet deadlines and stay organized
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Demonstrated understanding of company specials and marketing programs
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of HVAC and supplies
