HVAC Install Technician - Lead

About This Role

Lead HVAC installations for residential clients, ensuring quality and efficiency. This role involves maintaining company vehicles, documenting work, and providing guidance to junior technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC installations with attention to detail and quality
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to optimize processes and ensure seamless operations
• Drive and maintain company vehicles to ensure safety and efficiency
• Serve customers by analyzing work orders, following daily travel schedules, listening to customer concerns, performing designated work, and proactively solving problems
• Cooperate with other departments to continually improve the process and flow of information
• Request necessary parts and equipment in advance for installation jobs and verify truck is loaded properly with all materials
• Document work performed in accordance with company procedure
• Provide guidance to assistants or apprentices and share knowledge
• Keep personal tools and equipment operable and up to date
• Maintain current knowledge of HVAC codes and standards

Requirements

• Available to work weekends
• 21 or older
• At least 5 years of residential HVAC installation experience and knowledge
• Valid local driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug screen, background record and motor vehicle record
• Strong mechanical aptitude and customer service skills
• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools

• At least five (5) years of residential HVAC installation experience and knowledge
